Simple Dumpling Dipping Sauce Plus

!±8± Simple Dumpling Dipping Sauce Plus

Get yourself some Lingling Brand Pot-stickers. They are Frozen chicken/vegtable dumplings.
Simply steam then in a saucepan with a half inch of water for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and saute in olive oil for 5 minutes until golden brown on all sides.

Now take the whimpy sauce they give you (which is just soy sauce and a few spices) and kick it up a few notches by adding:

1 tsp Olive Oil
a big pinch of ground ginger
a pinch of cumin
1/2 tsp all purpose no salt seasoning (I make my own, but Mrs Dash will do)
1/4 tsp of garlic powder
generous squirt of cayenne pepper OR Sriracha (Chinese chili/garlic sauce)
AND now for the secret ingredient:
A teaspoon of any all natural peanut butter pre-softened so it blends easily. My PB is Kirkland Brand which is very thin, so a little stir allows it to pour. I find this to be very convenient.

Stir it up, nuke it for 15 seconds and serve.

It's great with bread sticks too. And while you are serving bread sticks, you just HAVE to have something else to dip them into.

You can also make your own Hummus in no time flat as well. A large can of chick peas, and food processor, with a bit of lemon juice and olive oil is all you need. Just toss in the Chick peas (garbanzos) and lemon juice and start to puree but not all the way. Add in some roasted red peppers, a few sun dried tomatoes, and start the machine again but add in a 1/4 cup of olive oil until pureed. Serve with crackers or pita.

ENJOY!
